STATE COLLEGE, PA, November 12, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Maria Frisby, a former Ms. Pennsylvania 2004 and Penn State graduate, was a VIP in the 2021 Penn State Homecoming Parade in State College, PA. Miss Pennsylvania America 2021 Meghan Sinisi and Miss Pennsylvania USA Sydney Robertson, who she met and was photographed with at the parade were also VIPs in the 2021 Penn State Homecoming Parade. Maria was escorted by parade escort Drew in a 1918 Dodge Brothers vehicle. The parade spectators cheered for Maria and gave her many applauses throughout the parade.
Maria reaches out to the sick, disabled, elderly and homeless through the group she founded Angels of Mercy. She gives stuffed animals and hugs to the sick, disabled and elderly at facilities and to the general public in parks and in parking lots to spread love and brighten their day. She sent postcards to many doctors, nurses and medical staff who are overwhelmed by taking care of COVID-19 patients at hospitals in the USA. She thanked them for their service and told them that they are true heroes.
Maria's goal is to one day purchase a tractor trailer and go to places where natural disasters occur to provide food, water and supplies to the victims of natural disasters.
Maria Frisby is a former Ms. Pennsylvania 2004 and was a finalist and 2nd runner-up at the 2004 United States Beauties National Pageant in Bloomingdale, Illinois. She won a Her Heighness Production Inspiration Award in Illinois in 2004 because she is a walking miracle after surviving a 108 degree body temperature, sepsis and septicemia.
She is a former Miss North America Ambassador 2005 as well. She was on the cover and featured in the national magazine H2 Model & Pageantry Magazine. She was a pageant judge at a Miss America preliminary pageant in York, PA in 2017. She received a royal letter from Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan in March 2019. She graduated from Penn State.
