Our members are free to share information about selling and pricing. Ron
FORT WORTH, TX, February 08, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Almost two years ago, a Fort Worth based serial entrepreneur, Fort Worth commercial real estate developer and long-time fan of Robert Graham shirts, Ron Sturgeon, created a Facebook group exclusively for other collectors of the brand's iconic shirts.
Today, Robert Graham Clothing Collectors has over 1,700 members based around the world even though it's not actually the official brand page! This public, extremely inclusive Facebook group has only a couple of rules: no commercial enterprises can enter the group; every post should have at least one RG item; and no politics.
Ron has made it super easy for RG connoisseurs to help each other find the clothing items and accessories they are looking for. He says, "Unlike other RG fan groups of Facebook, our members are free to share information about selling and pricing. All we ask is that you respect the other members and refrain from posting inappropriate and offensive content."
The first two days of each month in the group are dedicated for closet sale, making it easier for members to buy and sell their Robert Graham clothing items without having to follow every single post.
If you're looking to buy some choice RG merchandize – minus any hefty commissions – this is the perfect time to join the group. Ron Sturgeon himself buys more than 100 RG shirts every year and used to sell them on eBay, so he knows how valuable it can be to connect to the like-minded collectors who may have exactly what you need.
"During our closet sales, members post their for-sale items with pictures, price, and size information to make buying them an easy process," says Jennifer Knittel, group administrator. She adds, "If a member sees a shirt they want to buy, they can simply message the person who posted the picture and complete the purchase within a few clicks."
