After earning bachelor's degrees in pre-law and family studies from 2013 to 2016, Ms. Tippel obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Samford University's Cumberland School of Law in 2019. She was subsequently noted as one of three students in her class to participate in an accelerated law program that allowed her to complete her undergraduate studies and obtain a law degree in six years. Ms. Tippel began her career as a legal intern in the offices of Legal Services Alabama and the Family Court of Jefferson County from 2016 to 2017, for which she worked directly with the attorneys from the Alabama Department of Human Resources, assisted with drafting court orders and witnessed trials concerning child support, delinquency, dependency, protection from abuse and termination of parental rights.
From 2017 to 2018, Ms. Tippel served as a law clerk with Sessums Law Group PA, with which she assisted attorneys by organizing case materials, performing legal research and drafting motions, final judgment orders and other legal documents for a broad range of civil cases. In 2018, she was appointed as judicial intern in the court of the Honorable Agnes Chappell for the 10th Judicial Circuit in Jefferson County, Alabama. Ms. Tippel later found success with the Virga Law Firm as a law clerk in 2019 and an associate attorney in 2020, handling family law cases concerning adoptions, child support, custody, paternity, and divorce.
Ms. Tippel's charitable efforts include tutoring children with Troxell House from 2012 to 2013, an organization that houses impoverished families and trains them to gain employment. She has additionally volunteered with Children's Miracle Network Hospitals since 2014. Furthermore, Ms. Tippel provided legal assistance for Wills Clinic for Heroes and Low Income and Project Homeless Connect from 2017 to 2018. Ms. Tippel is also on the board of directors for Daughter is Enough, Inc., a nonprofit ministry for women with a vision to help women everywhere understand their self-worth, coming alongside women to encourage, equip, and empower them to live out their identity in their faith.
Ms. Tippel attributes her success to the encouragement of her family, fiancé and boss, who have continually seen her potential and capabilities, pushing her to become the best attorney that she could be. She considers her career highlight to have been her recovery from a brain tumor and passing the bar examination at the age of 25. In the coming years, Ms. Tippel would like to become certified in family law by the Florida Bar and become a director in her current law firm.
