Mr. Quillen is a successful engineer and entrepreneur who has accrued nearly 20 years of expertise in his field throughout the Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati area. Establishing his own firm in 2015, Marque Engineering specializes in providing an array of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and technology system services to clients. As the owner of the aforementioned company, he is responsible for providing his talented team members with leadership and management advice while also collaborating with clients to meet the needs of their ongoing engineering projects across multiple sectors. Mr. Quillen's long list of clients have notably included Jimmy John's, Spooky Nook Sports, JD Sports Flagship in Times Square, NY, Taco Bell, Holiday Inn Express and Big Ash Brewery, to name a few.
Gaining valuable experience over the years, Mr. Quillen initially worked for KLH Engineers in Fort Thomas, Kentucky between 2003 and 2014. He was then recruited by ProLink Staffing in Cincinnati as a senior electrical engineer before shifting his attention to entrepreneurship. Besides his primary responsibilities, Mr. Quillen briefly taught as an adjunct faculty member at Cincinnati State University.
Mr. Quillen is a frequent featured expert panelist member for the Business Journal Leadership Trust. He also served on the board of directors for the Cincinnati chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council between 2008 and 2014.
An alumnus of Edison State Community College, Mr. Quillen earned an Associate of Science in engineering technology in 1999. He subsequently obtained a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering at Wright State University in 2003 and a Master of Business Administration in management, organizational structure, strategy and business analytics at Northern Kentucky University in 2016. Mr. Quillen is a licensed professional engineer in 41 states and Puerto Rico and holds a LEED certification.
Aspiring to gain recognition as a top 25 engineering firm within his region, Mr. Quillen's engineering firm has already been presented with a Fast 55 Award from the Cincinnati Business Carrier in 2019, which honors the fastest growing businesses in the area.
