Golden Triangle Dog Park is the Latest in Dog-Friendly Spaces

Dogs get social and aerobic at Fort Worth Design District's playground for canines

There's so much to do here, you can spend the whole day.

FORT WORTH, TX, March 22, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- It's often been said that dog is a man's best friend. Well, if that's true, how about we return the favor by putting a little more thought into how to enrich our furry friends' lives?

That's exactly what Fort Worth entrepreneur Ron Sturgeon did when he expressed our appreciation for the animals that add so much to our lives by including the Golden Triangle Dog Park in his famous Fort Worth Design District.

"I think the people of Fort Worth have come to look at the Design District as a cross between Madison Avenue, Big Sur, and some parts of Disney World," says Jennifer Kittel, administrator for the district. "There's so much to do here, you can spend the whole day. Leave your pooch at home? Unthinkable," she says.

Jennifer is quick to add, "Besides, our canine citizens deserve a place to just be themselves. And believe me, they are. It's such fun to watch. We even have see-saws for dogs."

Situated on the grounds of the Fort Worth Design District and just a short dog walk from the Golden Triangle Business Park, the Golden Triangle Dog Park features two sections – one for big dogs and one for small. The dog park is complete with water fountains where dogs can lap up a liquid snack, playground equipment to frolic on like furry toddlers, and even fake fire hydrants; we won't tell them they're fake if you don't…

A set of common-sense "Bark Park Rules" are on display on the fence near the entrance to the park. Owners are asked to stay within the park and within view of their dogs. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Other than such bow-wow basics, there's plenty of room to roam from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. here every day, with ample space for parking – and joyful barking. Just don't overdo it. "Owners know to be considerate. The dogs here are totally chill. That's why kids love it," notes Jennifer.
