His work led him to UK hospitals in Sussex, Kent, and Pembury. He served as a consultant for physician shortages at the time. The experience increased his awareness of this problem in many communities.
Life also took Dr. Everest to Malta. He became part of a systems improvement team in the David Bruce Military Hospital. With all his experience, he accrued an honorary medical doctorate from the Dell Medical School. It is the graduate medical school of the University of Texas in Austin.
Now that he can pay it forward, he does everything to help young doctors succeed in the field.
