But with the opening of Hair by Memory at our Mall Circle location we know it's going to be one of the hottest salons in Fort Worth.
It's all about Memory – Memory Jones, the proprietor and a true hair artiste, whose deeply felt enthusiasm for the job she does shines like sunlight on of a blond.
"Why do I do what I do?" asks Memory. "I love all things hair. I trained at the ITS Academy of Beauty, where I learned to use the tools of my trade. I've practiced my art now for six years – interacting with the most wonderful people – all of you."
Memory tells it like it is, for one of the things that sets her apart is the way that she cares about her customers. "They really become good friends," she says.
And friends tell other friends when they look this marvelous. Memory's haircuts are what she's built her professional reputation on, but now as she makes the most of her Salon and Spa Galleria spa booth rental, she's widened out to blonding specialist and doing IBE (hair extensions).
Hair specialist Memory Jones offers training, too. "If I'm allowed to blow my own horn – and ya know, I think I will – I train people well, and I have the patience for it. Trainees tell me they really like my personality. I offer one-on-one mentoring, right here in a location that is super-easy to find."
It all keeps her busy enough that it is By Appointment Only, but this gal's a worker: Her hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
"I know people will remember how great they looked and felt when they walked out my door. And I think people just might remember the name," the creator of Hair by Memory smiles playfully. It's quite a smile.
