Overcoming homelessness and other excruciating hardships, Mr. Bopda's strong performance in obtaining the aforementioned certification while he was a homeless for a period of twelve months, inspired him to see a future for himself as a gastrointestinal surgeon.
Determined to continue pursuing an education in medicine, Mr. Bopda attended various programs at the University of Maryland Systems in the state of Maryland. He holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology, with a concentration in biology, and a Master of Science in healthcare administration. On the strength of both milestones he secured, he started his journey to earning a Doctoral Degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Looking toward the future, Mr. Bopda hopes to secure a residency in Gastrointestinal Surgery at one of the top sites in the United States.
Mr. Bopda has attended state of the art training and broadcasts with leaders such as former President Barack Obama, and George's W. Bush, Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Trevor Noah, Deepak Chopra, Sir Richard Branson and Arianna Huffington.
