Ms. Rabe earned an Associate of Science in physical therapist assistant and a Bachelor of Science in health science with a pre-physical therapy track from the University of Michigan. In recognition for her academic excellence, she was honored with a National Award from her associate degree program in 2007. She is a licensed physical therapist assistant by Ascension at Home Together with Compassus, with which she has excelled since 2019.
Ms. Rabe originally intended to become a nurse, inspired by her mother and grandmother, who were nurses themselves. However, during an assignment in high school where her class researched various careers, a friend's report on physical therapist assistants showed her this option. She became passionately interested in the field, and decided upon that career path instead.
As part of her dedication to her field, Ms. Rabe is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Michigan Physical Therapy Association. An expert in physical therapy, she has worked in her profession for more than 15 years. She plans to pursue her doctorate in the near future while continuing to work in home care, specializing in neuro-type treatments.
