Mr. Eden earned a Bachelor of Science in construction engineering technology from the University of Toledo in 2003, after which he began his career as a project engineer for Sletten Construction Company. More than a decade later, in 2016, he was promoted to the role of the vice president and corrections division manager for the company, a position he continues to excel in. Throughout the course of his education and career, Mr. Eden has garnered renown as an expert in constructing detention and security facilities.
In his present role, Mr. Eden leads the corrections division of the company, including procuring projects, traveling to construction sites to check on their progress, and attending training seminars and corrections-related events throughout the year. Notably, the division is responsible for building jails, prisons, mental health facilities and courthouses. Having initially cultivated an interest in construction as a young child, Mr. Eden remained passionate about the field as he grew older, and steered his career path accordingly.
