MARIETTA, GA, April 20, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ken Sisco, an experienced probate attorney and a Registered Neutral Mediator with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution, has announced the launch of new legal practices – Sisco Probate Law and Sisco ADR. These practices will be providing trusted probate law representation and cost-effective mediation services, respectively.
Ken Sisco, the founding attorney of Sisco Probate Law and Sisco ADR, received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University. He then went on to get his law degree at Widener University in Pennsylvania and has held bar licenses in three states (NY, NJ, and GA).
When he chose to leave corporate America to open his own practice, he decided to focus his efforts on probate matters – especially probate litigation.
Announcing the launch of these new practices, the spokesperson for Sisco Probate Law said, "Many families believe that they can navigate the probate process without a robust legal presence. Where this might be the case, it likely is not. Unfortunately, even when a solid will is in place, the individual personal interests and family dynamics may interfere with the estate's resolution. To avoid letting emotions thwart or delay the legal proceedings, you should consider having the advocacy of a skilled attorney. Preferably, the lawyer can help guide the probate to a peaceful outcome. Other times, he may need to aggressively litigate the situation in the courts. Typically, the level of help required to resolve the estate is somewhere in between. End-of-life issues are difficult and potentially emotional, making your choice of legal advisor even more important. As a practicing lawyer since 1996, Kenneth Sisco has the knowledge and experience to navigate this complex process."
Kenneth Sisco has more than 25 years of experience litigating personal injury cases on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants. He has litigated everything from minor personal injury cases to multi-million dollar complex multi-party disputes.
As the managing attorney for a Fortune 500 insurance company, Ken Sisco oversaw roughly 700 cases at any given time. More than 75% of those cases were resolved for under $50,000. However, most took much longer than necessary as mediation was cost-prohibitive. With this knowledge, he recognized that there is a need for cost-effective mediations and therefore started Sisco ADR.
Parties often try to avoid the expense of mediation and settle these cases on their own. Often, the parties are unable to reach an agreement and end up incurring mediation costs anyway. While most of these disputes do end up settling at mediation, this is usually months or even years after the case is ready to be mediated.
In consideration of the need for timely, quality, and cost-efficient mediations, Sisco ADR offers mediation for a flat fee with a 3-hour time limit, that can be conducted personally or virtually.
