Ms. Figueroa has found success as the CEO & Founder of Latin2Latin (L2L) Marketing and Communications LLC. Celebrating 15 years in business, her firm first opened in 2007, and has since garnered a reputation as a full-service, award-winning agency that specializes in providing complex strategic plans, creative development, and marketing expertise to clients. Focusing mainly on the health care and education sectors, as well as startups, Ms. Figueroa also emphasizes diversity, equity, and inclusion in Hispanic and multicultural marketing. Among the countless clients served, L2L has notably retained customers across the country, from New York to Arizona and as far south as her native Puerto Rico.

As an extension of her work, Ms. Figueroa has served as the Chief of Staff and Country Manager for miR Scientific LLC since 2020. Playing a vital role in the health care company's inaugural clinical trial program in Puerto Rico, she has also been heavily involved in the company's overall development. Ms. Figueroa's extensive career history also included serving as the project director for the television series "Maya & Miguel." Likewise, she functioned as an account director for the Bravo Group, through which she was instrumental in doubling the company's revenue.

Prior to her current career endeavors, Ms. Figueroa was a part of a pioneering team that created the first portal for the Hispanic market for the television network Univision. It was her first corporate role, however, that set the foundation for her career. Hired as a marketing coordinator for Anheuser-Busch in New York City in 1989, Ms. Figueroa later became recognized as the company's first Puerto Rican woman to serve as a District Manager before being named as its Corporate Director.

As a testament to her success, Ms. Figueroa was featured as an author in volume two of the 2019 book "Money Matters: World's Leading Entrepreneurs Reveal Their Top Tips to Success," by author Adam Torres. She has also contributed to Portada by co-authoring two articles for its sounding-off series, "Why Urgent Care Centers Are a Viable Solution" and "Understanding the Changing Face of America: A Matter of Health." Over the years, Ms. Figueroa has also appeared in various professional publications, including Bloomberg and the Miami Herald, and has contributed to several local podcasts nationwide.

Involved in many local initiatives that support the community and the educational and nonprofit sectors, Ms. Figueroa maintains her involvement as a board member for the Hispanics Entrepreneur Initiative. She is also a member of the Puerto Rican South Florida Chamber of Commerce, a board advisor for Florida State University, The Center for Hispanic Marketing Communications, and a fellow of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance of Broward County. Among other activities, Ms. Figueroa serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of Governors of the Tower Club in Fort Lauderdale.

Ms. Figueroa earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, with a minor in marketing, at the University of Puerto Rico in 1987. Returning to her academic efforts in the U.S., she completed a program on negotiation for senior executives, through which she earned a certificate at the Sloan School of Management at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1995. Ms. Figueroa subsequently received a Master of Business Administration in business and finance at Dowling College in 1998, a certificate in public policy at the Harvard Kennedy School in 1998, a certificate at the Center of Creative Leadership in 1998 and a Master of Science in direct marketing at New York University in 2001. Ms. Figueroa became certified in harnessing public entrepreneurship and micro-credentials from the Chief of Staff Association in 2021.

Developing a reputation for excellence, L2L was recognized with a Diversity in Business Award from the Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce in 2018 and a Communicators Award for Best Packaging and Best Overall Design in 2020. Ms. Figueroa has also been recognized for her success with nearly two dozen other awards, including recognition as one of the FACES of Latin Marketing by the 50 FACES of Gold Coast Magazine and as one of Who's Who Women of Influence by Lifestyle Media Group.
