He has also functioned as a Financial Analyst in the Financial Management Division of Covered California since 2019. In this capacity, he manages monthly financial dashboards that are presented to the Board of Directors, tracks monthly revenues and financial trends, assists with annual revenue reconciliations, validates large data sets, and creates intricate financial matrices. Mr. Sohal also communicates with Qualified Health Plans in order to establish proactive and profitable relationships.
A dedicated civil advocate, Mr. Sohal volunteers in several capacities on behalf of his community. He is a member of the Kiwanis Early Risers of Yuba City. Likewise, Mr. Sohal has volunteered with the Chico State Punjabi Club, through which he served food and drinks for the annual Nagar Kirtan Sikh Festival, donated blankets during the holiday season, and provided hygiene kits for the underprivileged at Cesar Chavez Park in Sacramento, California. Mr. Sohal also regularly donates to the local Sikh Temples located in Yuba City, California, along with other various charities such as Seva Selfless Service.
Looking toward the future, Mr. Sohal has high aspirations. These include expanding his family business, acquiring different franchises, investing in real estate, serving the community, and serving in local politics.
