We are filling a need for focused end to end services ranging from primary care to prescription delivery in one coordinated offering, including our assistive technology and connected care.
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA, May 25, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Pack4U, a connected health services company, announces a partnership with StationMD, to serve the intellectual and developmental disability population (I/DD) through state Medicaid programs starting in Tennessee and Missouri, then expanding to additional states.
"A high percentage of our patient encounters relate to medications, what is prescribed, medication taking habits, and vital-sign measures. With Pack4U in home service for the I/DD population, our trained doctors can meet their needs armed with better information and insights, and that translates to better health outcomes. This specialized telemedicine model is providing people with I/DD a better standard of care while solving access issues. It also eases the pressure on support professionals and families," said Dr. Maulik Trivedi, MD, Chief Strategy Officer, StationMD.
The partnership combines Pack4U's connected in home medication dispensing and personalized clinical oversight, medication delivery, remote monitoring, and care coordination with Station MD's specialized primary care for underserved I/DD populations. These combined services will help improve access to virtual medical care, avoid unnecessary visits to urgent care settings, and eliminate the reliance on in-person visits.
"We are filling a need for focused end to end services ranging from primary care to prescription delivery in one coordinated offering, including our assistive technology and connected care. Our collaboration will fill gaps in virtual medication support for people living with I/DD. StationMD's primary care services already address many of the causes of unnecessary ER/Urgent Care use. Pack4U assistive technology achieves more than 98.7% medication adherence, reducing medication related errors which can lead to ER visits. Together, our combined services allow I/DD patients more independence, coordinated care management while reducing total cost of care," said Michael Halligan, VP Sales Pack4U.
