Integrating her faith into her artistic endeavors, Ms. Seaborn has been a musician, author and writer for more than 50 years. She began her creative journey in her youth, coming of age in a family of musicians. Her parents raised her to be the family accompanist, and she started playing piano for their church when she was in eighth grade. Ms. Seaborn studied the organ while earning a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Gordon College and, in 1986, continued her music career as a commentator for Lorenz Music Company magazines while also serving as organist for Woodlawn United Methodist Church. In 2012 she began her final two years as an organist at Grace United Methodist Church, and currently serves as pianist for North Augusta Southern Methodist Church. Additionally, she also serves as a Sunday School teacher for her church.

She authored "As Long as the Rivers Run: Highlights from Columbia County's Past," which was published with Crown Point Publishing in 2011. In recognition for her writing talents, she was honored with an Outstanding Achievement Award and was a runner-up for an award from Reader's Digest magazine.
