    ATLANTA, GA, June 08, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Atlanta Workshop Players (AWP) announces that its world renowned, Summer Performing Arts Camp for tweens and teens interested in a career in acting commences on July 10, 2022. This intensive and fun summer camp offers world class instruction on acting. It has attracted students from five continents. The camp offers two distinct programs – the VIP Movie Camp and the Performing Arts Intensive Day Camp.

The VIP Movie Camp offers students the option of staying on campus or going to camp daily while at home. Leading filmmakers train attendees for careers in front of and behind the camera. Students make a movie and take part in actual auditions for casting directors and talent agents. The VIP Movie Camp starts on July 10th and concludes on July 23rd with a Red Carpet screening of their movie.

The Performing Arts Intensive Day Camp starts on July 18th and concludes on July 23rd with a live variety show. It provides workshops in dance, acting, circus arts, musical theatre, stage combat, stunts, improv, classical theater and industry auditions. The classes are conducted by world renowned instructors.

The Atlanta Workshop Players Summer Performing Camp has paved the way for successful alum like Jack Alcott, David Lambert, Chris Lowell, Faith Salie, Katelyn Nacon, and Cassidy McClincy.
