Prior to his work in financial planning, Mr. Doura studied at the University of Charleston in West Virginia, from which he attained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2008. Shortly after the conclusion of his academic efforts, he played as an offensive lineman for the Miami Dolphins in 2010. Notably, during this time he was named to the Million Dollar Round Table in 2020.
In addition to his primary career endeavors, Mr. Doura is a passionate philanthropist and active participant in the nonprofit community, having been a member of such organizations as Families First of Palm Beach County, of which he is a board director, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, and the Ayiti Community Trust, a foundation based in North Miami, Florida. Likewise, he serves on the young friends group of both the Palm Beach Symphony and Peggy Adams, an animal rescue league, and with various other organizations of note, such as the Boys and Girls Club of Broward County. Mr. Doura is also a published author, having written "Let's Get It! 10 Keys to a Sustainable Life Fulfilling Nonprofit Organizations." The book, which expounds upon important values nonprofit organizations should uphold to assure long-term sustainability, is due to be released in late 2022 via such prominent outlets as Target, Walmart, Barnes & Noble and Books-A-Million.
In accounting for his success, Mr. Doura credits the support of his parents and family, alongside whom he emigrated from Haiti at a young age. Having witnessed firsthand the challenges of life in a third world nation, he resolved to become knowledgeable in the ways through which individuals could lift themselves from poverty and provide opportunities for themselves and others. Mr. Doura is also grateful for his deep and abiding Christian faith, which extended to him a second chance in life. Outside of his vocational circles, he enjoys such pastimes as watching movies, reading, boxing, cooking, traveling and quality time spent with his family.
