At Pretty Simple Nails, Nail Artist Liz Griffin Calls It Nail Therapy

Lizz won't disagree with that fond appraisal, and why should she? She knows herself – and she knows nails. And she's looking forward to showing you how beautiful you can look and feel when she opens up her very own nail salon at Salon & Spa Galleria Sublett Rd. on August 9th.

It'll be called, Pretty Simple Nails.
"I want to create a private experience and offer a different availability than any salon," enthuses Lizz. "I am also a woman and have experienced wanting to get my nails done but salons were closed. No one should have to wait if they don't want to or if it's urgent. Sometimes beauty can be."

She knows she's preaching to the choir on that and has known that all the way back to her training at the Studio Moiselle School of Nail Technology in Deep Ellum, Texas. Completing that apprenticeship and then learning even more during her first two years in the industry, Lizz knows today exactly what she's really offering: it's a kind of therapy!

"I want to create a space where we as women can relax, laugh, and just be a girl or woman. Even guys, no discrimination. I call it Nail Therapy in a way!"

In more tangible terms, Pretty Simple Nails will be offering the same gorgeous services that Lizz offers presently from her home: paraffin wax, press-on nails, and most nail enhancements.

"I'm getting famous around here for all kinds of specialties. Gel X nails. Acrylics. Glow-in-the-dark dip powders. And I plan on selling my own press-on nails. I will make them by hand for clients who aren't able to come into the shop."
