He currently serves as Central Florida Market President at First Horizon Bank, where he manages the bank's retail platform, business banking platform, commercial banking platform and private wealth platform for the Greater Central Florida region. Mr. Hatch also established and oversees First Horizon Bank's Sports and Entertainment Group, combining his background in sports with his career expertise.
Before joining First Horizon Bank, Mr. Hatch held the positions of SVP Private Banking Group Manager at IBERIABANK in 2021, Wealth Advisor at Truist, formerly SunTrust, from 2008 until 2021 and Portfolio Manager at Evergreen Investments between 2000 and 2008. At Truist, he worked to develop the pilot program and platform for the Business Owner's Specialty Group, partnering with the commercial sector of the bank to establish policies, procedures and practices for the benefit of all their clients.
Mr. Hatch is certified as an Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA) by the College for Financial Planning in 2013, is an Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) and is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA). He holds Series 6, Series 63, Series 7, Series 65 and Series 66 licenses. To remain aware of developments affecting his field, he is active with the American Bankers Association. To commemorate his accomplishments, he has been named among the top 10 percent of wealth advisors by performance.
Prior to embarking upon his professional journey as a Wealth Advisor, Mr. Hatch obtained a bachelor's degree from the University of Florida, where he played for the Florida Gators football team from 1991 to 1993. He was drafted by the New England Patriots in 1993 and also played for the Atlanta Falcons, Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Dallas Cowboys.
Though his professional journey has been filled with many memorable moments, Mr. Hatch is especially proud of his two sons and his work mentoring and coaching young athletes, especially a particular team that he coached in 2014, from which all 30 children went on to college. Mr. Hatch also contributes to his community as a board member of Advent Health Central Florida and the Greater Orlando Sports Commission, and as chairman of the board of The Assistance Fund. Outside of his career, Mr. Hatch enjoys exercising, playing golf and cooking.
