HOUSTON, TX, July 16, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Restaurateurs Kelly and San Cheng aren't new to the Conroe, TX food scene. Their food truck, Taste the Asian Mobile Food Trailer, has been a Conroe staple since 2019.
What IS new is their restaurant, Dragon Bowl C Noodle Bar.
With a Dragon Ball Z-inspired theme and a spicy blend of TexAsian entrees, Dragon Bowl C isn't your traditional Korean eatery. With a soft opening in June and their Grand Opening on July 2nd, Dragon Bowl C takes inspiration from The Cheng's favorite anime series based on the iconic Japanese manga, Dragon Ball Z.
Dishes feature soon-to-be classics such as Dragon Bowl Pho, Kamehameha, and GoGo Noodle. Appetizers include Korean meal staples such as egg rolls and pot stickers, all made with the Dragon Bowl flair. When asked what his favorite dish was, Chef Cheng stated that his favorite is always the one he's currently developing. "I love innovating and creating; food should be fun, and I'm always striving to turn my passion and love for Korean cuisine into an amazing dining experience for our customers."
With fun in mind, Kelly has worked hard to bring their favorite anime to life and ensure that Dragon Bowl C is a location to remember. Visitors can take a picture with the life-size statue of Majin Buu guarding the entrance, dine amongst paintings of all their favorite characters, or even earn points to unlock the secret menu! "Just like in the video games, players can earn points to unlock items on our menu. We love seeing our customer's faces when they find something new and unexpected," says Kelly.
Regardless of what they order, Kelly and San want their customers to enjoy the food, the atmosphere, and the company. "The main reason we do this is for our kids. We want our kids to see that you being successful and enjoying your work can go hand-in-hand."
Raving reviews and lines out the door leave this being one of the top restaurants to visit in Conroe Texas.
