Through the consulting firm, he provides professional advice and guidance. Since joining MSDC in 2012, Mr. Al Janabi has overseen environmental conservation within projects' implementation utilizing LEED "Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design" procedures in order to remain environmentally friendly, and supervises feasibility studies, budgeting, and cost controlling, and complex claims management initiatives.

Mr. Al Janabi also worked for "UCC Holding" in the capacity of Executive Director of construction and program management and as Projects Director of the pre-construction division. In his overall work with "UCC Holding", he managed large business development, design management, and contracts execution for strategic projects estimated values in excess of $4.0 billion, liaised with corporate level management, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies, approved all project resource deployment plans, and formulated technical and administration distribution of agile style functions team charts in professional supervisory disciplines as per project's need, assigning tasks for PMCM, and design management teams for delivery purposes, inspiring works culture in compliance with local workers welfare attributes, and shared knowledge via capacity building and ethical coaching and performed annual staff performance appraisal, and fitment analysis, and have managed large relevant industry teams for delivery purposes overlooking and securing prompt occupational health and safety capturing zero tolerance policies, assigned and performed annual P&L analysis. During his career, he also gained valuable expertise in the field as Senior Development Manager within "Nakheel Corporation PJSC" within its "Nakheel Marine Group" for the construction management and development of project value exceeding $2.0 billion, and as Logistics Manager and an Operations Project Manager for the "United Nations Development Program" and the "International Telecommunication Union" in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, respectively, and in several executive roles within relevant local consultancy and construction companies, and as an assistant lecturer within the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.

Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Al Janabi earned his Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., USA in 1985. Subsequently, he received a Master's degree in civil engineering and construction management from his same alma mater in 1987, subsequently receiving certifications in LEED AP Building Design and Construction from AMIDEAST, Negotiation Skills for Project Managers and Quality for Project Managers, respectively from George Washington University - School of Business, coupled with accountability for several published technically and commercially oriented researches in the fields of infrastructure, marine, environmental conservation, and contracts and commercial management cases, etc. To remain aware of developments affecting his field, Mr. Al Janabi aligns himself with the American Society of Civil Engineers and the International Code Council, USA.

To commemorate his accomplishments, Mr. Al Janabi has been recognized many times. In addition to being featured in the article "The Poverty of Ambition: Why the West Is Losing to China and India" in Forbes Magazine, he earned the Highest Carrier Achievement in "Marine and Environmental Engineering Achievement Award" through the ASCE's 5th International Conference for Engineering and Construction in 2008 in Irvine, CA., USA. In 2018, he also won a "Certificate of Appreciation" through "Power International Holding" in Qatar. In a career filled with highlights, he is most proud of working on a number of highly visible projects, including to say a few the strategic "Lusail Man-Made Six Islands Development" in Qatar, the "Palm Island Development in Dubai" and the "Palm Island Development in Jebel Ali", detailed master planning and development studies of the "New Ramadi City" in Iraq, and "The Jumeirah Waterfront Development Project" in Dubai, UAE, and several other infrastructure, hospitality, marine environmental conservation, and real estate projects in Canada, Middle East, and The Maldives.
