FORT PIERCE, FL, August 22, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Georgette Sophia Angelos has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. Ms. Angelos is distinguished for her success as a filmmaker, film producer and restaurant owner. Through her production company, G2C Productions, she created the five-part documentary series "Boston George" about the life of George Jung, an American drug trafficker, who was a major figure in the cocaine trade during the 1970s and early 1980s. While making the films, Ms. Angelos interviewed and filmed Mr. Jung for three years, upon his release from prison until his death in May 2021. The documentary series was released on July 21, 2022.
In addition to her achievements in filmmaking and film production, Ms. Angelos is the owner of Chuck's Seafood, a popular formal-dining restaurant in Fort Pierce, Florida, which opened in 1961. She assumed ownership of the business in 2021 after her father, who had owned and operated it since 1985, suffered an injury.
Ms. Angelos began her professional career as a house photographer for Silverback Music Management, where she gained firsthand experience on the set of music videos, which sparked her interest in film production. She later served as an assistant director and associate producer for music videos, commercials and short films, enabling her to work with such brands as Adidas, WWE, GQ, Audi and NFL Films. Supported by both industry experience and talent, she became the senior producer and overall head of video production for Snoop Dogg's company, Merry Jane.
Ms. Angelos attributes her success to her work ethic, which was inspired by the example set by her parents. Looking to the future, she plans to embrace additional opportunities that will allow her to grow and succeed.
