See the Elephant amaro di rucola takes home the GOLD medal in the 2022 USA Spirits Ratings Competition

See the Elephant amaro di rucola continues to receive top scores and awards from industry leading competitions.

MOUNT PLEASANT, SC, August 26, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- See the Elephant amaro di rucola has received a number of prestigious awards recently ranging from the Chilled Magazine 95 Point rating, to a Gold medal from John Barleycorn Awards and most recently received a Gold medal from a panel of high-profile spirits industry judges at USA Spirits Ratings Competition. See the Elephant scored highly in three different categories - Quality, Value and Packaging – which resulted in a 91-point score.

Winning a gold medal at the USA Spirits Ratings Competition is not only an ultimate seal of approval but also shows that See the Elephant amaro is a high-quality spirit with a broad consumer appeal. See the Elephant was the 2nd highest scoring liqueur in the USA Spirits Ratings Competition, which validates the quality, history and attention to detail represented in all aspects of the brand. The amaro category is going through a boom with consumers in the United States as they discover the history, provenance, and diversity of amari brands that exist in the category.

"It's exciting to have industry veterans, trade professionals and consumers all gravitate towards See the Elephant. The reception since launching the brand has been overwhelming. In less than a year. See the Elephant has been one of the most highly awarded amari brands." Said Kyle Harder, founder of See the Elephant. He goes on to say that "See the Elephant resonates because this brand is about pursuing your destiny – going out into the world to chase what inspires you – we all must head out to 'See the Elephant' for ourselves. It also helps over deliver for consumers when the liquid quality lives up to the packaging design and brand."

Sid Patel, CEO and Founder of Beverage Trade Network, emphasized on the importance of finding spirits that score highly across all three categories rather than just one, "We feel that it offers a broad, comprehensive approach to evaluating spirits the same way that consumers and trade buyers do."

"Increasingly, consumers are thinking of spirits as brands, just like they would of any other product they find in supermarket," said Patel. "That's why it was so important to include Packaging & Presentation as a key judging criterion - it means that the spirit is being created with a specific type of customer or demographic in mind."

The judging panel included spirits industry professionals with commercial buying expertise. It also included professionals from leading retail chains, wholesalers, distributors, specialty retailers and casual and fine dining establishments.

The inclusion of so many high-profile judges ensured that spirits that were awarded medals in competition were those with a high degree of commercial appeal.
