Outside of her primary career efforts, Ms. Streets serves as a coach for the Special Olympics and has been a volunteer with the City of Refuge Church since 1997.

She had previous experience teaching adults basic computer skills and currently assists her adult disabilities students with attaining necessary independent living skills.

Additionally, she is a board member for the Compton Unified School District-Compton High School Alumni Association. Lucy also holds the office of forever secretary of the Compton High School Class of 1973 Reunion Committee, who in fact will be celebrating their golden 50th reunion this year.
Prior to embarking on her professional journey, Ms. Streets earned enough credits towards a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Long Beach State University. She gained a strong sense of compassion and an energetic work ethic from her parents (Lee Royal and Lucy Mae Davidson) growing up, which have served her well in her life and career pursuits. Looking toward the future, Ms. Streets intends to focus her efforts on senior care, accompanying them on enjoyable outings to places such as libraries, botanical gardens, casinos, wine tasting events and state fairs.
