The Return of the Mohicans – A New Hope By: James Edmund Adams

Published by: Winter Bear Books

REDDING, CA, September 14, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- For 500 years, disease, persecution, forced removal, and outright slaughter of Native Americans have affected millions of souls. Treating Native Americans as subhuman, "Indian savages," the US government has forced countless indigenous humans who survived into poverty on reservations. They have also tried to destroy their culture and languages.

In The Return of the Mohicans – A New Hope, their ancestors in the Spirit World have watched hundreds of treaties broken and continue to see their descendants suffer. So, they have raised a vast army led by gifted recruits and a champion chosen from among the living to conquer an evil Lord and attempt to take down a callous, inhuman US President.

Dr. Jeromy Whitefeather Ph.D., a Professor of Native American Studies, is transported to the past, and he visits and trains in the Spirit World with a Great Chief named Chingachgook, who was thought to be the last of his Mohican people. He undergoes a dramatic change, gaining courage, strength, and the fiercest warrior fighting skills, and leads a legion of Spirit Warriors in a wild attempt to rewrite American history.

James Edmund Adams was born in Darby, Pennsylvania. As a child, he loved visiting libraries and reading many of the classics but fell in love early with adventure, fantasy, the supernatural, and Science Fiction. He attended three colleges, graduating with a degree in nursing, where he worked for many years in Emergency, Psychiatry, and Addictions. He held many positions as an RN, including staff and management. The experience was transformative.

James is a Shamanic practitioner and has gained the ability to travel into hidden realms. Everything that exists is alive and has a spirit. Connecting to the web of life has provided him insight and communion with the elements and forces that affect us all, providing harmony and balance. He and his family have lived in several rural areas near Indian reservations. They attended many powwows and other Native American events, developing passion and interest in their spirituality, culture, and challenges. Their suffering and disadvantage haunt him.

James has been married for over 30 years to Dr. Alicia Adams - USAF Lt. Col. (retired). He and his family have lived in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Texas, Utah, Nevada, and California.
