The Franchise Owner of the Columbia moving company was recently named a 2022 Franchise Rock Star by Franchise Business Review.

COLUMBIA, SC, September 22, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Will Sullivan, Franchise Owner of the Columbia College HUNKS Hauling Junk and Moving®, was recently named a 2022 Franchise Rock Star by Franchise Business Review. The Franchise Rock Star awards recognize franchisees who are exceptional leaders, brand ambassadors, and mentors. Winners are also featured in the publication's annual Franchise Rock Star report.

"We are thrilled that Will has been named a Franchise Rock Star. He truly deserves this honor for his commitment to success and to our core value of Building Leaders. He is an inspiration to his team in Columbia and throughout our organization," said Nick Friedman, Co-Founder of College HUNKS. "Will also represents the diversity of our brand; he won the "millennial" category. We are proud to have franchise partners who come from various professional backgrounds and prove that business ownership is a possibility for many."

Will Sullivan has been leading the Columbia College HUNKS since its opening in September 2021. Under his leadership, the Columbia College HUNKS landed a 1,500-room junk removal job at two separate apartment complexes. This single job earned $80,000. The job successfully recycled over 50 tons of metal and donated hundreds of pieces of furniture to various local organizations.

Sullivan also aims to build leaders in accordance and promoted Dillion Smith, Operations Manager and Chance Guerra, Office Administrator, who both started their College HUNKS careers on the trucks.

"I am incredibly honored to receive the Franchise Rock Star award from Franchise Business Review and to represent College HUNKS," said Will Sullivan, Franchise Owner of the Columbia College HUNKS. "Being part of the brand has allowed me to serve in a leadership role and help be a positive model for others who work with me, as well as those we support in our local communities. For most of our hunks, this is their first real job, and it has been rewarding to teach them the importance of accountability and work ethic. I am excited to continue to train up new hunks and see what they can accomplish both inside and outside of our brand as they grow."

Prior to College HUNKS, Will Sullivan worked at a wealth management firm. Growing up, he was always looking for ways to make money and did various side hustles ranging from lawn care to mobile car detailing. In high school, he started a mobile device and computer repair company called The Tech Doc. Through trial and error, he learned how to operate a small business and manage the different aspects of business ownership. He shut down his repair company to attend Clemson University, where he graduated in 2019 summa cum laude. "My parents are both self-employed and instilled in me and my brother the value of hard work. I was lucky to have such supportive role models growing up and I hope I can serve a similar role to other young professionals as they create their own career paths after College Hunks."
