Drawing on years of practiced expertise in health care, human resources and customer service, Ms. Brown presently excels as an administrator for Andover Ambulatory Surgery Center, which serves the greater Wichita area. Previously, she refined her knowledge in the field as a clinical manager with Mid-Kansas Ear, Nose & Throat Associates, as well as Mid-America Orthopedics. With the latter organization, Ms. Brown maintained responsibility for planning, organizing and directing daily functions, overseeing and coordinating nursing staff, reviewing provider requests and mediating complaints and grievances made by department personnel, patients and family members.
During the early stages of her career, Ms. Brown also worked in various management and administrative roles. To remain aware of developments affecting her field, Ms. Brown aligns herself with the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association.
To further her expertise in the health care industry, Ms. Brown received an Associate of Science from Pratt Community College in 2012. She will graduate in December 2022 with a Bachelor's Degree in General Studies with an emphasis in Business Management from Fort Hays State University. Over the years, she also became a licensed practical nurse through Wichita Area Technical College and a notary public from the American Association of Notaries. Looking toward the future, Ms. Brown would like to pursue further education to help others during retirement by completing a master's degree in mental health counseling.
