With more than 30 years of excellence to his credit in photography, Mr. Krull has found success as a photographer and author with his own company, S.W. Krull Imaging. Having established his company as a photojournalist in 1992, he is now also an author. He focuses his artistic efforts on wildlife photography while writing a blog and developing a variety of pictures. He has created numerous stock images published with various companies over the years. Additionally, he is a member of the Sierra Club and the Professional Photographers of America.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Krull began his career as a software engineer with Control Data in 1982 until 2001. Prior to embarking on his professional journey, he earned a certificate of completion in meteorology from the USAF Air Weather School. He then attained an Associate of Arts in art studies from Mission College.
As an author, Mr. Krull has written a wealth of work on his photography, including "Seasons of the Raptor: One Year Photographing Colorado's Raptors," "Two Decades of Digital Photography: My Favorite Images and How They Were Made" and "Wildlife Photography in the Colorado Rockies: Where and How to Find and Photograph Wildlife," all published in 2022. Within the coming years, he intends to publish more books, perfecting his skills and trying new things to continue improving his craft.
