- Beautiful Numismatic Paradise in Ulsan - The only coins collecting fair in Korea

LOS ANGELES, CA, November 02, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ulsan Metropolitan City announced that 'Ulsan Money Fair 2022' will be held for 3 days from November 18 to 20 involving Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation, and leading non-ferrous metal companies etc.

In general, the overseas numismatic fair is held every year in Germany, the United States, Japan, and China as an event where new currency and rare commemorative coins from various countries are displayed. Especially, as cash becomes rarer these days as it turns into a cashless society, the numismatic fair and coin collecting market are growing rapidly every year based on the enthusiasm for collection. However, in Korea, the "Korea Money Fair" ended at 2013, leaving money lovers with lots of regrets.

'Ulsan Money Fair 2022' is the only numismatic fair in Korea. This is a good opportunity for money lovers. Therefore, it is expected to visit Ulsan for the fair from all over the country.

Ulsan has the largest non-ferrous metal industrial complex in Korea which occupies more than 50% of the global Coin Blanks market. Furthermore, Ulsan is a city where Korea Zinc, LS MnM, and POONGSAN are located. They are representative companies that produce gold, silver, and copper, which are the materials of coins. In celebration of the 'Ulsan Money Fair', they all will participate in the fair as non-ferrous metal team to further shine the fair.

Nowadays, countries around the world issue various historical moments such as people, nature, culture, and art in commemorative coins. As an example of this, the central bank of Qatar just issued coins to commemorate the 2022 Qatar World Cup. Korea also keep up with this trend. Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation issued 2022 Korea's national park commemorative coins and 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup 20th anniversary medals. In particular, Son Heung-min's Golden Boot Winner medal is beloved.

In addition, Ulju-gun, Ulsan, has been providing commemorative medals to hikers who have completed nine peaks of the Yeongnam Alps, and since 2021, they have been produced and distributed as silver medals, adding scarcity and symbolism as meaningful souvenirs for hikers.

Like this, the reason why people are so enthusiastic about the collection of money and commemorative coins is the value of history and art engraved on the currency. Money is not just an economic tool, but invaluable artwork that combines the history and culture of each country.

'Ulsan Money Fair' will showcase a Money Gallery across the times and continents, featuring 3,000 years of East and Western coins, special world banknotes, and a special World Cup commemorative coins, as well as an auction for money lovers.

Additionally, BNK Kyongnam Bank's financial seminar, guest lectures and various events, programs are full. Registration to this event is free for pre-registration, and can be made by November 16 (Wednesday) on the official website.

In November, why don't you go on a world tour and time travel with your family in Ulsan?
