Inaugural Cobb County Public Safety 5K Run To Be Held November 19th Proceeds Will Benefit Officer Relief

Great Opportunity To Show Support For Those Who Sacrifice For Our Safety



    ATLANTA, GA, November 04, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Cobb County Public Safety Foundation announces that it will be holding its inaugural Cobb County Public Safety 5K Run on Saturday, November 19th at the Battery Atlanta, 800 Battery Ave, Atlanta, GA 30339 at 8:30 AM. There will also be a Kids Dash starting at 9:30 AM with the Atlanta Braves Blooper. The cost for the 5K is $40, with discounted pricing for early signup and the cost for the Kids Dash is $20. All participants will receive a t-shirt and the race is a Peachtree Road Race Qualifier. Proceeds go to officer relief. This is an excellent opportunity to run, walk, and show support for the Cobb County Public Safety officers who work tirelessly for our safety. The LoRusso Law Firm is the presenting sponsor.

The Cobb County Public Safety 5K Run is ideal for all categories of runners. There is also a virtual option available if you cannot make it in person. In addition to the run, there will be first responder displays and vehicles for public viewing. Early packet pickup for the 5K will be on November 17th and 18th at Big Peach Running Company, 1625 Ridenour Boulevard, Ste. # 304, Kennesaw, GA from 3 PM to 7 PM. Race day pickup will be at 8:00 AM.
