The founder of DUVINI, she was an invited participant at a RAHM Contest in London, England, in 2018, in which she advanced to the final round. A scholarship recipient of Out and Equal Workplace Advocates and Victory Institute, Vinita has become prolific as a speaker and panelist on Corporate Diversity and Inclusion, and Transgender perspectives in India and various LGBTQIA+ subjects at events and webinars hosted by nonprofit organizations, corporate organizations, and community events.
Vinita found success with her creative works as well, having notably acted in a lead actor role in "JLT's Project Indian Bride" in 2016 and as a M.A.C. Makeup Artist. Lauded for her work as a make-up artist, she was also featured in "Just Like That: A Platform for Independent Filmmakers to Showcase Unconventional Subjects Through Cinema" for YourStory Media Pvt. Ltd. in 2017. Vinita has also contributed to an article titled "Today, More People Use Visual Media to Address LGBT Issues" for The Times of India in 2016.
