Jay Golden has been Inducted into the Prestigious Marquis Who's Who Biographical Registry

    OMAHA, NE, November 17, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jay Golden has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

With more than 50 years of excellence to his credit in the automotive industry, Mr. Golden has found success as a leader in his field. In this capacity, he serves as the chief executive officer and founder of GSBA Omaha. Since 2020, he has focused his efforts on visiting various clients to help them write business plans, guiding them on their bookkeeping, vendor selection, handling payroll issues, human resource issues and assisting with any other needs they may have. He discounts his fees to a local non-profit, the Cross Training Center.

Outside of his primary career efforts, Mr. Golden has served as the president of the Long Island Sports Car Association, during which time he chaired a benefit road rally for United Cerebral Palsy 10 years in a row. He was a member of the National Association of Fleet Administrators helping fleet operators nation-wide to run more efficiently.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Golden worked with Avis Car Rental and American International Rent-A-Car. In 1981, he continued his career as the chief executive officer of American Fleet Management.

He went on to join the Ford Motor Company, working there for 20 years until becoming an Area Field Manager for U-Haul where he expanded the Long Island presence of the company.

Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Golden attained a MBE in broadcast engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1975. In recognition of his excellent work, he shared an Emmy Award with the video engineering department of the NBC Network for creating a special effect called "Tape Double Exposure." He also received an Innovator Award from the Sony Corporation for creative use of their video equipment. In accounting for his success, he attributes his keen sense for diversifying his experience over the course of his career, learning and gaining a great deal of knowledge in every role he has held.
