    MANASSAS, VA, November 17, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Artist Website: https://www.artofalbertleejones.com/bio.htm

QUOTE: "An enduring work of art must employ one or more principles of design found in nature and a degree of formality. Design principles and design elements are fundamental, whether the art is intended as a structured or unstructured form. Art, first and foremost, should be appreciated for its artistic appeal and intrinsic design qualities. Associative values should only become relative after appreciating a work of art as "Art for Art's Sake"- apart from didactic, moral, political, or utilitarian impressions."

MANASSAS, VA, November 17, 2022, Albert Lee Jones has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Drawing on more than 50 years of creative brilliance, Mr. Jones, has excelled as an award winning visual artist, multimedia video production manager, exhibits designer and curator, art and world history professor, and marketing communications professional. His ability to perceive astatically began at an early age. As a young artist, he came to realize the key to a successful work of art is the understanding and application of basic design principles. His philosophy of art follows that of Dr. Francis August Schaeffer, who states: "A Christian should use these arts to the glory of God, not just as tracts, mind you, but as things of beauty to the praise of God. An artwork can be a doxology in itself."= And, that of graduate art professors Emory Bopp and Carl Blair.

Between 1969 and 1972, Mr. Jones worked as a visual communications artist in support of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Integrated Space Program (Apollo 11, Space Shuttle, Mars Expedition, and Space Station) at NASA Headquarters, Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. With NASA, he was one of three artists who implemented installation of exhibits for NASA's original Space Science Museum, constructed in support of the 1969 Lunar Mission's original Space Hardware displays that featured the "Lunar Landing Craft," "Moon Rock," and "Space Gear" from the historic 1969 Lunar Mission Program. A number of these artifacts (Lunar Module, Moon Buggy, Space Gear, etc.) are now exhibited in the Air and Space Museum, National Mall, Washington DC.

Throughout the following decade, Mr. Jones thrived as an adjunct art professor, as well as Public Relations and Marketing Communications Director for Tennessee Temple University, which has since merged with Piedmont International University. Likewise, he has served as a world humanities visual arts adjunct professor at the University of Alabama, Calhoun College, Augusta State University, and Greenville Technical College.

His work is found in numerous public collections, including: Duke Power Company, Greenville, SC and Charlotte, NC; Bob Jones University, Student Art Collection; Tennessee Temple University Student Art Collection; Greenville County Redevelopment Authority; Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church, Greenville, SC; Southside Baptist Church, Greenville, SC; Ellis Group, PA Architecture and Neal Prince & Partners Architects, Greenville, SC; U.S. Air Force Art Collection; Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Art Collection; Pentagon Patriotic Art Program Collection, among numerous others. More than 190 private collectors in 29 U.S. states; Nykoping, Sweden; Marsden Point, Northland New Zealand; London England; Brisbane Australia; and Canada own Mr. Jones's fine art paintings.

From 1982 to 2003, Mr. Jones excelled as owner and marketing communications director of Jones Associates Marketing Communications and LionHeart Marketing Inc. in Greenville, SC and Augusta, GA. From 2003 to 2022, he served four years as visual communications professional with the Navy and Air Force, and 14 years as Office of Secretary of Defense historical exhibit curator and program manager beginning 2008. During his service with the Air Force, the 375th Air Wing, Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, bestowed upon him the manager's category "most valued professional" of the year award.
In 1985, Mr. Jones completed a Master of Arts in Fine Art and Advertising Design at Bob Jones University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in General Art and Secondary Education, at Tennessee Temple University in 1982. Following this accomplishment, he pursued a Master of Religious Education, with a minor in Pastoral Counseling, at the Temple Theological Seminary.

Presently, he continues as a member of the American Society of Marine Artists, the Society of Illustrators, and the U.S. Air Force Art Collection Program.

Mr. Jones' 22 plus years of service with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) includes four years with the Air Force during the Vietnam War. In 2003, as a patriot, he returned to the DoD as a civil service employee, serving four years with the Navy and Air Force, and 14 years as the Pentagon Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) Historical Exhibits Curator and Program Manager, Washington Headquarters Services, OSD Graphics and Presentation Division. Mr. Jones' military service was heavily influenced by his father's service during WWII and his own four years of service during the Vietnam War. In recognition of his 14 years contribution as the Pentagon OSD Historical Exhibits Curator and Program Manager, Mr. Jones' fine art painting is included in the Secretary of Defense Art Collection.
