The former was written after one of her co-workers at Saint Francis Hospital became the victim of a tragic accident and passed away; the latter is an entertaining realistic inside view of a young woman's encounters as she seeks a better life. She is also the inspirational host and creator of Nights Of Inspiration, which is a unique night of inspiration for all that includes inspirational dance solos, spoken word and more. They have been conducted in various states and venues since 2010. Ms. Harris is also the current singles ministry coordinator of SWAG ministry Relentless Church Forney.
She has consistently worked in various fields of the U.S. government for the past five years. She had previously excelled in the medical field in Louisiana and throughout the Great Northwest for 20 years, but after taking an entry-level job with the government, she found travel and disaster relief more rewarding and exciting. She is currently a U.S. Government employee.
Though her career has been filled with highlights, Ms. Harris takes the most pride in obtaining her associate degree in healthcare administration from Colorado Christian University.
Her greatest motivation was her mother and Wanda's desire to excel in spite of being a teen mother. Her goal is to continue to thrive and share her unique gift of inspiration in various forms on a large scale to a larger audience. Her dream is to one day work with or have her work discovered by her favorite entertainers and inspirations: Tyler Perry, TD Jakes, Oprah Winfrey and Steve Harvey.
