SAN ANTONIO, TX, November 29, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Former professional quarterback in the Arena Football League, Raymond "Coach Ray" Philyaw Jr., launches the Philyaw Youth Football Foundation to offer ALL motivated and capable student athletes the opportunity to play football!

PYFF, in collaboration with the Raymond Philyaw Academy, is the first of its kind in South Central Texas. Coach Ray, as his athletes call him, has identified a legitimate gap that needed to be filled.

PYFF's vision is to provide ALL young, motivated and capable student athletes accessibility and exposure to professional athletic coaching, academic and athletic opportunities, leadership coaching, team and character-building activities regardless of race, religion, geography, and socioeconomic status. It is our intention and hope that PYFF plays a positive role in our country's next generation of high functioning and high performing young adults.

"We are investing in the next generation of young, talented student athletes by making athletic coaching, mentorship, academic support, university exposure and rapport building accessible and part of increasing the probability of success for PYFF student athletes," says Coach Ray Philyaw.

With a heavy emphasis placed on the total athlete, each qualified PYFF student-athlete is provided opportunities to mature athletically, physically, academically, and emotionally---skills and attributes intended to be used on and off the field. PYFF provides financial support for qualifying student athletes to fully participate in board approved football and academic programs throughout Texas and the nation.

Your tax-deductible donation will be 100% allocated toward training facilities, equipment, training, transportation, and academic tutoring for underprivileged student athletes. For ways to donate, please visit Raymond Philyaw Academy's website: Raymond Philyaw Academy

The Philyaw Youth Football Foundation is an IRS approved 501c3 not for profit organization dedicated to increasing athletic and academic opportunities for talented, motivated and capable yet under resourced and under privileged student athletes.
