LOS ANGELES, CA, January 08, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Scientists see a crescendo of seismic activity and with the San Andreas Fault 80 years overdue; they say disaster can come anytime.
Dr. Richard Ruhling, author on current events and expert on Bible prophecy, says the biblical end-times begin with a megaquake that shakes our world when Muslims take Jerusalem as the last chapters of Joel and Zechariah show. Turkish President Erdogan has appealed for 57 Muslim nations to do so—but better news--the Bible suggests when.
Judgment fell on Egypt, on Christ, and on Jerusalem at Passover in 70 AD when Titus began his siege and the apostle Paul cited the Exodus as an example for end-times in the 10th chapter of 1Corinthians, and he said the holy days like Passover are a shadow of things to come, says Ruhling.
Ruhling predicted war with Iraq before 9-11, based on "the vision at the time of the end" in Daniel 8. It shows a conflict with ram's horns representing Media and Persia, but those areas are now Iraq and Iran. One reason the Bible is a best-seller is its accurate record for prophecy, says Ruhling.
He opines that pastors are too focused on a smooth sermon for Sunday and they miss four ways that an earthquake is encoded in Revelation, suggesting it will be a bigger event than seen. The ancient church of Laodicea was materialistic and it ended in a "knock" that most Evangelicals think is gentle Jesus, always knocking at our heart to be part of all we do, but the knock is also for the wedding in Luke's 12th chapter where Christ said to sell what we have to be ready.
That would be especially good for those living in cities, because we could expect that martial law will then be how "one shall be taken, the other left" as Christ warned at the end of Luke's 17th chapter, totally missed in the Left Behind fictional series.
