Dr. Shali is most proud to have established a successful medical practice after immigrating to the United States with only $100 to her name.
VISTA, CA, January 16, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Reyzan Shali has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
With nearly two decades of experience to her credit, Dr. Shali has cultivated a career of excellence in the health care industry, joining Tri-City Primary Care as a physician in 2022. Based in Vista, California, the clinic offers a host of in-house laboratory services and the talents of several highly skilled physicians. Alongside her team of five other physicians, Dr. Shali works tirelessly within her outpatient clinic and in tandem with nearby radiology and laboratories to provide patients with primary care services, such as screening and preventative services. Prior to her current appointment, she worked as a physician for the Scripps Coastal Medical Group, part of the Scripps Health network, from 2005 to 2022.
Originally hailing from Iraq, Dr. Shali earned a Doctor of Medicine in Baghdad before venturing to the United States, where she completed her residency program in the state of Michigan. In addition to her academic credentials, she is board certified in internal medicine, and remains affiliated with the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians. Well-regarded for her scholarly output, Dr. Shali authored "Teaming Up Against Cancer: Simple, Powerful Ways to Beat the Odds and Take Your Life Back," which expounded upon strategies for faster recovery from cancer, as well as dietary guidelines to follow in preventing its emergence.
Throughout the course of her career, Dr. Shali has largely attributed her success to her resilience, empathy and unique background as a woman who was forced to consistently rise to the occasion and overcome the doubts of others. Throughout this time, she drew strength from the example of her parents, both of whom hailed from Kurdistan and taught her the value of kindness and sensitivity to others. Driven to honor their memory, she has long sought to serve as a guiding light people can look to for answers along the path back toward regaining control over their own lives.
In a career suffused with highlights, Dr. Shali is most proud to have established a successful medical practice after immigrating to the United States with only $100 to her name, and to have built a wonderful family of her own – including her husband, Rastgo, and her two boys, Kawan and Kurdo. In the coming years, she looks forward to continuing to help patients, many of whom she has formed unfading connections, long after their treatment has concluded. Dr. Shali hopes to serve as an inspiration not only to her patients but to her family and her community.
