Due to his considerable knowledge, Mr. Skutelsky has been featured in Elle Décor and Architectural Digest Magazine and has been a pivotal member of the National Wood Flooring Association's summit and roundtable discussion to further wood flooring education in New York's architecture, design, and construction communities.
An expert in his field, Mr. Skutelsky holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the City University of New York's College of Staten Island and a certificate in Becoming a Better Manager from Harvard Business School. Over the years, he has also become a certified wood flooring inspector through the National Wood Flooring Association and a LEED Green Associate through the U.S. Green Building Council. In recognition of his professional achievements, he was named one of Hardwood Floors Magazine's 40 Under 40 and received the Wood Floor Business Outstanding Retailers Award in 2022, which has been one of the highlights of his career. The cornerstone of his success lay in the fear that it could all go away at any time, which motivates him to improve on a consistent basis.
