Ms. Conti-O'Brien considers her academic background and experience as a teacher as foundational to her broad professional success. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Salve Regina University in 1989; moreover, she completed postgraduate coursework at Sacred Heart University, which also granted her a teaching certification in 1996. Her teaching appointments were based in Connecticut and included roles as a middle school language arts and Spanish teacher at All Saints Catholic School from 1993 to 1996 and as a Spanish and French instructor from 1996 to 1998 for 8th grade at Flood Middle School. From 1998 to 2017, Ms. Conti-O'Brien moved into the role of Spanish Teacher for both 7th and 8th grade.
