CHESAPEAKE, VA, March 02, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Courtney Kittrell has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Since 1999, Ms. Kittrell has honorably served with the United States Navy, currently holding the rank of master chief petty officer (E-9), the highest enlistment rank one can obtain. As part of her duties, she is a senior enlisted leader in the Navy Personnel Command and Task Force Talent Management, in addition to working in the aviation administration. Previously, Ms. Kittrell served in Strike Fighter Squadron Three Seven from 2017 to 2020 and as an administration officer in the Mid-Atlantic Fleet Readiness Center from 2008 to 2010. During her military service, she came to realize that everyone is fighting internal battles. She chose to take a stand as a leader and speak on the importance of mental health, which was met with great feedback and support.

Channeling her military and life experiences into a valuable mentoring service, Ms. Kittrell has become an established and well-respected author in her genre. Her books include the recent "Never be Afraid to Eat Alone," published in 2022, its contents encouraging self-awareness and introspection. "Wake Up. Turn Up. Bless Up," released in 2020, serves as an inspirational book for working women. Her first book, "Unapologetically Favored: A Woman. A Leader. A Testimony," came out in 2019 and is a memoir that features personal details about Ms. Kittrell's own struggles and achievements. Writing and publishing her books has become her healing process, as it allows her to be vulnerable. Sharing her stories, telling her truths and exploring her flaws, all while helping others in the process, has made for a fulfilling and joyous career. Additionally, since 2022, Ms. Kittrell has been an active radio presence with her iHeart radio program titled "Unapologetically Favored." She also hosts a podcast for Transformation Talk Radio.

Finding great success in her endeavors, Ms. Kittrell has proudly accepted various commendations for her service, including the Presidential Volunteer Service Award, which included a letter from President Barack Obama in 2015. She has also been featured by Voyage Baltimore Magazine in 2022. Upon reflection, Ms. Kittrell attributes her success to her trust in the natural process of life and to her positive outlook, believing everyone's life has a purpose. She offers credit to the people surrounding her who nurture, support and help her to overcome challenges, including her friend Trish, her mother and her grandfather. Furthermore, learning from the mishaps and adversities of life helped her get to where she is today.

In addition, Ms. Kittrell remains involved in her community in multiple roles. A civic-minded citizen, she has participated with the Bob Feller Act of Valor Foundation since 2016. Since 2014, she has acted as a judge and mentor for the Chicago High School NJROTC Program and as an event coordinator for a summer training program with the U.S. Naval Sea Cadets Corp.

As part of her vocational journey, Ms. Kittrell earned an associate degree in business administration and management and a second associate degree in supervisor management, both from Coastline College. She subsequently attained a bachelor's degree in organizational leadership from the University of Charleston in 2020. Eager to deploy her expertise to guide others toward personal discovery, she is a certified Life Purpose Coach and Professional Life Coach through the Transformation Academy. She has also completed additional training, including as a Postsecondary Instructor for the National Center for Competency Testing and, in 2016, she earned the rank of a Master Training Specialist.

Looking toward the future, Ms. Kittrell hopes to pursue and complete a master's degree in organizational leadership at the University of Charleston. Further down the line, she hopes to become a life coach for the United States Navy and help rescue the nation's sailors from their personal burdens and challenges. She also would like to train the military's current counselors to enhance their coaching skills and abilities.
