MIDDLETOWN, PA, March 04, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Maria Frisby, a former Ms. Pennsylvania 2004, and graduate of Penn State University is on the cover and featured in the March 2023 edition of the 50plusLife Magazine.

Maria reaches out to the sick, disabled, elderly, homeless and general public through a group she founded called the Angels of Mercy. She gives stuffed animals and hugs to the general public in parks, parking lots, and restaurants, and to the sick, disabled and elderly in facilities to spread love and brighten their day, no matter their race, nationality, creed or skin color.

She is a survivor of the USA's worst commercial nuclear accident, the Three Mile Island partial meltdown that occurred almost 44 years ago on March 28, 1979. President Jimmy Carter, who is now under hospice care, came to Middletown, PA and went to the nuclear plant during his visit in March 1979. Reporters from all over the world came to Middletown, PA as well. Maria is working with director/producer/writer Jill Murphy Long of JML Films and is part of the East Coast publicity team for two TV programs based on the 1979 nuclear accident, called Plutonium Skies and Powerhouse. She attends film launch parties and takes photographs and videos of other survivors at the film launch parties. She also takes photographs and videos of local businesses that were around during the nuclear accident. She was interviewed for the upcoming film Radioactive, the Women of Three Mile Island as well. In the 50plusLife article, Maria goes into detail about being a survivor of the Three Mile Island partial meltdown that occurred on March 28, 1979.

Although the COVID-19 pandemic came and slowed this angel down to an extent, due to the quarantines and social distancing, Maria continues to reach out to others, no matter their race, nationality, creed or skin color, to spread love and brighten their day.

She survived the USA's worst commercial nuclear accident and so many other things including a life-threatening 108 degree body temperature, sepsis and septicemia, but she continues to persevere, no matter what she faces in life.
