With more than a decade of excellence in studying human behavior and seeing beyond the surface level of behaviors, Ms. Wright has earned distinction as the founder and chief executive officer of BEHCA, LLC. For the past eight years, she has focused her efforts on helping families, educators and support providers to determine the underlying causes of human behavior by tracking daily observations, identifying emotional triggers and utilizing insights from shared data. Additionally, she has been a behavior consultant, family advocate and coach since 2012 through her business Wright Behavior.
Outside of her primary career efforts, Ms. Wright is an accomplished author, having written "See Beyond Emotion" and "See Beyond Behavior." Her works focus on what motivates people, how to get people to collaborate, how to have people better understand one another and how to resolve conflicts. She also served as a board member for the Village Home Education Resource Center. Additionally, she is involved with the non-profit organization Fidgetech as the education design and training facilitator.
Ms. Wright has an extensive background working in both specialized programs and residential settings prior to completing both her undergraduate and graduate work. Beginning in 1998, she worked her way up from a para-educator, to a teacher, to a consultant. She earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Criminalistics and Criminal Science from the University of Phoenix in 2006. She then attained a Master of Arts in Special Education and Teaching from Pacific University in 2008.
Within the coming years, Ms. Wright intends to grow the BEHCA team in terms of development, customer support and marketing. She plans to bring more content to the forefront of the business as well, publishing several more books in her "See Beyond" series (Parenting, Neurodiversity, Education, and Therapy). All books within this series are intended to both disrupt old systems and present new perspectives, whilst exposing narrow systemic structures that often marginalize, discriminate, or fail to support individuals.
