"The entire town of Calistoga turns into a retreat that guests can dive into for a day or two, the whole week, or anywhere in between."
CALISTOGA, CA, March 29, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- This spring the charming town of Calistoga at the top of the Napa Valley is pulling out all the stops for its 3rd annual Wellness Week April 17-22, 2023. Sponsored by Visit Calistoga (visitcalistoga.com), the annual event is filled with opportunities to rest, relax, rejuvenate, and reinvigorate. The soaks, spa treatments and mud baths that Calistoga is famous for are only the beginning as the entire town turns into a retreat that guests can dive into for a day or two, the whole week, or anywhere in between. Activities include fitness classes like poolside yoga, strength training, and Pilates in the park, delicious and healthy dining specials at local restaurants, cooking classes, guided hikes and bike rides on the breathtaking trails in the area, and more. Spas, lodging facilities, restaurants, wineries, and downtown boutiques are offering special programs and discounts to please guests whether they're just starting out on their wellness journey, are looking for quick springtime tune-up, or are dedicated fitness buffs.
Activities are built around daily themes: Mud and Massage Monday, Trail Tuesday, Water and Wine Wednesday, Thoughtful Thursday and Foodie Friday. Salsa Saturday meets Earth Day in Pioneer Park on April 22nd to wrap up Wellness Week on a high note. Visitors can join the locals with a free concert from high-energy Latin roots tribute dance band Maya from 5pm to 7pm and sip organic wines from Calistoga wineries at the Mother Earth's Wine Bar tent.
"The Calistoga community had a lot of fun pulling together Wellness Week this year," said Eric Reichert, president and CEO of the Calistoga Chamber of Commerce and Welcome Center. "Visitors will find something to lift their spirits and put a 'spring' in their step around every corner. There are new partners, activities, and surprises being added every day, so I recommend checking Visit Calistoga's Wellness Week website for the most up-to-date information at visitcalistoga.com/calistoga-wellness-week."
