Similarly, he is a professor of 17 years at Colorado Technical University, through which he teaches courses that delve into cybersecurity, ethical hacking, penetration testing and scans, security, computer forensics, capstone courses management, business ethics, professional communications and more.
During the early stages of his career, Dr. Robertson gained valuable expertise as a Quality Assurance IT Manager and a Program Manager for the Department of Veteran Affairs. Dr. Robertson has IT experience working with several private and federal agencies to name a few, the USDA, the Department of Energy, NORAD, Vandenberg Air Force Base, Patrick Space Force Base, Air Force Academy and Peterson Air Force Base on million-dollar IT projects in connection with the Department of Defense. Dr. Robertson also served his country in the U.S. Army, Army Reserves and Air Force Reserves. Driven to stay abreast of changes in the field, Dr. Robertson aligns himself with memberships in several organizations, including the IEEE, the National Association of Realtors, and the Pikes Peak Association of Realtors.
An expert in his field, Dr. Robertson earned an associate degree in data processing from the City Colleges of Chicago, a bachelor's degree in management information systems, a master's degree in management, a master's degree in management information systems, and an MBA. Dr. Robertson also holds a PhD in management from Colorado Technical University. Over the years, he has also earned certifications in software quality engineering and Agile SAFe Product Owner methodology. In light of his professional experience, Dr. Robertson received an Educator of the Year Award as a Professor at Colorado Technical University. Dr. Robertson also earned a 25 Years of Community Service Award for helping families become home owners in the state of Colorado. While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in helping more than 1,000 people with disabilities to obtain employment and accommodations over 17 years with recognition.
The cornerstone of his success lay in being raised by his wonderful parents and hard work. Within the coming years, Dr. Robertson would like to meet Warren Buffet, retire from his work with the federal government, and continue managing his businesses and/or work for a prominent organization or investment company.
