Prior to embarking on his own as a consultant, he served as the executive vice president and co-founder of PrairieFyre Software, which expanded globally with offices in four countries and presence in 80 countries, before selling the company to a major corporation. During the earlier stages of his career, Mr. Teasdale gained valuable expertise in executive and engineering roles with TASKE Technology, Mitel Corporation, Northern Telecom, Thorn-Ericsson, and British Telecom.
Born in Britain, Mr. Teasdale received an EE degree from Coventry University which kick-started his career. In the past 15 years, he has authored a number of works focused on business and adventure travel, including "Planes, Trains, Taxis, and Tuk Tuks," "Religion, Spirituality, and the way of life in the Himalayas - Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, and Myanmar," "The Mid-Life Crisis Continues" and "Travel Diaries of an Atypical Businessman – UNFILTERED."
In recent years, Mr. Teasdale has been hosting the "Travel Addict" Podcast that includes guests from all over the world with significant and inspiring adventure travel stories and achievements.
While his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Teasdale is most proud of having the opportunity to provide technical support and advice at the U.S. Embassies in Cairo during the first Gulf crisis and in Moscow during the final days of the Soviet Union's existence. The cornerstone of his success lay in his dedication to competence and getting things done. Within the next five to ten years, he aims to experience continued success in his work as a travel writer and public speaker. Ultimately, Mr. Teasdale aims to complete a long bucket list of adventure travel destinations and continue to learn about how the rest of the world lives and works.
