    SHARON, MA, May 04, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cinthia Beccacece Satornino, MBA, PhD, has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Leveraging more than two decades of experience in marketing and sales management, Dr. Satornino currently serves as the research director for the UNH Sales Center and an assistant professor of marketing at UNH's Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics, as well as earning distinction as an independent consultant in strategic planning and sales management since 2010.

Dr. Satornino began her career as an associate financial advisor and marketing specialist for First Union (Wachovia, now Wells Fargo) Securities in 1998. She subsequently worked for the University of Central Florida Foundation, helping to build the Advancement Services group. After earning her MBA at the University of Florida, Dr. Satornino served as a marketing and organizational development manager for IMG Enterprises (Cherry Lake) in 2007 and was the director of Gifts and Records Management for Virginia Commonwealth University in 2009. While earning her PhD in marketing (with a focus on frontline strategy) at Florida State University, she conducted research for Cotton, Inc., the Florida Retail Federation, and the Florida Department of Transportation. Dr. Satornino served in the marketing departments at Northeastern University's D'Amore-McKim College of Business and the University of Connecticut School of Business from 2014 to 2017, before joining the faculty at University of New Hampshire.

Over the course of her career, Dr. Satornino has also contributed a wealth of research to the marketing field, including award-winning articles published in the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management, and the Journal of Marketing Education. Her co-authored article based on her dissertation work and published in 2015, titled "Social Networks within Sales Organizations: Their Development and Importance for Salesperson Performance," earned the 2016 SalesSIG Excellence in Research Award and was featured in Forbes. Also featured in Forbes, her co-authored work titled "Whom to Hire and How to Coach Them: A Longitudinal Analysis of the Effects of Prior Experience, Education, and Manager Coaching on Sales Performance," earned the 2021 JPSSM Marvin Jolson Award for Best Contribution to Selling and Sales Management Practice. Her most recent work, published in 2023 and titled "Understanding the Performance Effects of 'Dark' Salesperson Traits: Machiavellianism, Narcissism, and Psychopathy," received the 5th highest attention impact factor for the Journal of Marketing, higher than 99% of its contemporaries, and is in the top 5% of all research articles tracked by Altmetric. The work has been featured in 55 media outlets to date, including Fast Company, Big Think, the Conversation, and Medium. Supplementary to her exemplary work, she is a active participant in the American Marketing Association, and a member of the International Social Capital Association, International Network of Social Network Analysts, and the Academy of Marketing Science.

Among her professional accomplishments, Dr. Satornino is a co-founder of the Hispanic Excellence in Business Education organization, a White House Initiative with the PhD Project, and was an invited panelist to the White House Summit on Latinas in the U.S., which highlighted the contributions of Latinas to the country's economy. Dr. Satornino is the 26th Hispanic American marketing professor in the United States to earn a marketing doctorate degree. Dr. Satornino is proud to have been named an Emerging Scholar by Diverse Magazine: Issues in Higher Education in 2016. She was also named one of the Top 40 Undergraduate Business Professors by Poets and Quants in 2017. Dr. Satornino is also humbled and honored to be awarded the inaugural MEFA Gerri Henderson Early Career Faculty Award in 2023.
