Mr. Odesnik chose to attend law school because he was interested in criminal procedures. However, he became drawn to civil law and became involved in defense work after earning his law degree. A year later, he realized he preferred being on the opposite side of the courtroom. While pursuing his degree, Mr. Odesnik served as a summer associate attorney at Tripp Scott, PA, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in 2008. He subsequently became an associate attorney at Kubicki Draper, PA, in Miami between 2009 and 2011. This full-service law firm notably provides its clients with trial, appellate, coverage, commercial, and real estate transaction services. Mr. Odesnik also served as a general legal consultant for KB Sports Management from 2009 to 2011. Furthermore, he spent 10 years as a plaintiff's personal injury attorney associate at Kanner & Pintaluge, PA, a high-volume personal injury firm based in Boca Raton, through which he focused on personal injury litigation, automobile accidents, slip and fall, premises liability, bad faith, construction defects, and property damage.
When Mr. Odesnik is not in the courtroom, he practices and teaches Brazilian jiu-jitsu classes at a local Fort Lauderdale, Florida, academy as a black belt martial artist. As a part of his continued investment in the community, he dedicates 10 to 15 hours of pro bono work per month to family and friends. Mr. Odesnik is also an established Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce member.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Odesnik received a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, at the University of Florida in 2007 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence, magna cum laude, in the top seven percent of his class at the Shepard Broad College of Law at Nova Southeastern University in 2009. During his law studies, he also served as the editor of the Shepard Broad Law Center's Law Review. Mr. Odesnik has been admitted to practice by the Florida, South Carolina, Texas, and Alabama State Bar Associations. He was also admitted to the New Mexico and Wisconsin Bar Associations, but these are no longer active.
