Moreover, Ms. Baker spent 30 years as a freelance editor and writer for various business publications and published her first book in 2021 titled, "Live! Love! Reset! As a part of her commitment to her local community, Ms. Baker is a member of the Southern Maryland Minority Chamber of Commerce and a member and ambassador of the Prince George's County Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Baker graduated from Howard University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in business administration. She holds multiple credentials in her field, including as a national marketing director, area market director, and regional marketing director through First Financial Security (FFS) and as a life and health producer in all 50 states. Ms. Baker also received certification as a financial education instructor through the National Financial Educators Council, certified business leader through FFS, a member of the Champions Club, Success Society also through FFS and certified field trainer through the Premier Financial Alliance.
Honoring her achievements, Ms. Baker has been recognized with several recognitions from FFS, including a Rising Star Award and a Success Society Membership Award. She also received an Excellence in Business Award from the Prince George's County Chamber of Commerce.
