World Climate Industry Expo 2023 opens on the 25th at the Bexco... Showcasing cutting-edge climate-related technologies at the 'Climate and Environmental Technology Center'

World Climate Industry Expo 2023 at the Climate and Environmental Technology Center will be taking place on May 25th (Thur.) - May 27th (Sat.) at Bexco Exhibition Hall 2.



    LOS ANGELES, CA, May 24, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- World Climate Industry Expo 2023 at the Climate and Environmental Technology Center will be taking place on May 25th (Thur.) - May 27th (Sat.) at Bexco Exhibition Hall 2. The event is hosted by the City of Busan, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Science and ICT, and Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and supervised by Bexco and Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), Korea Institute of Ocean Science & Technology (KIOST), and KOTRA.

'WCE Climate and Environmental Technology Center' is one of the six exhibition centers at the 'World Climate Industry Expo, WCE', an event held for the first time this year, and will be a place to introduce diverse climate and environmental technologies.

World Climate Industry Expo unites ongoing climate-related exhibitions, such as the Energy Show, Carbon Neutral EXPO, Ministry of Environment GGHK, and Busan City ENTECH, to induce the 2030 Busan World Expo and create a platform for responding to the climate crisis. There will be a total of six exhibition centers; Exhibition Hall 1 will consist of Clean Energy Center, Energy Utility Center, Carbon Neutral Center, Future Mobility Center, and EXPO Marketing Center while Exhibition Hall 2 will house Climate‧Environment Technology Center.

Many of Korea's climate and environmental agencies and enterprises will participate and showcase cutting-edge technologies and products at the WCE Climate and Environmental Technology Center in Exhibition Hall 2. Global Green Hub Korea (GGHK) will be held at the same time to open up overseas sales channels for the participating enterprises. There will be 120 agencies and enterprises representing 550 booths comprising environmental industry and climate technology centers.

At the environmental industry center, associated agencies, such as Korea Environmental Industry and Technology Institute (KEITI), Korea Environment Industry Association (KEIA), Korea Environment Corporation (K-eco), APEC Climate Center, Korea Southern Power Co., Ltd., will participate to introduce public policies. KEITI including 14 enterprises and research centers will showcase new technological achievements such as pyrolysis plants, waste recycling plants, smoke reduction filters, etc.

Green Innovation Enterprise Center will introduce promising green technologies selected by the Ministry of Environment such as eco-friendly snow remover. KEIA will promote excellent environmental enterprises from all over Korea that possess technologies like eco-friendly fuel additives and waste-to-energy technology. Korea Southern Power Co.Ltd. will display miniature water electrolysis substantiation and fuel cell model and promote related business and technology. In addition, excellent local environmental enterprises such as Dowon-APEX Ltd. (incineration plant), Hyclor (hypochlorite generator), Sseng Ltd. (water purification system), and 3Tech (dryer) will participate.

Foreign entities such as Indonesia Investment Promotion Center (IIPC) and Taipei Mission in Korea will participate and promote their eco-friendly technology and policies. Global Green Hub Korea (GGHK) will invite 118 foreign clients and buyers from 32 countries including Asia, China, Middle East, Europe, and the Americas. It will provide overseas business opportunities to domestic enterprises by opening an export consultation during the Expo.

Moreover, various forums and industry-specific seminars, such as Future Climate Forum, GGHK Project Presentation, and Mineral/Cycling Resource Technology Conference, will be held to discuss ways to overcome and respond to recent climate and environmental issues.

The Expo will organize a variety of participatory events such as green-certified product experiences, carbon-neutral events, and test-driving micro-electric cars. There will be a 'Stamp Tour' and 'Visiting Enterprise Product Presentation' for giveaway events. Visitors can win giveaways by collecting stamps by visiting every place on the 'Stamp Tour'. They can also win giveaways by visiting enterprise product presentations and winning a raffle on-site.
