Mr. Roderman previously served the town of Davie as a municipal judge between 1974 and 1977. He was also a state prosecutor for the Broward County State Attorney's Office from 1972 to 1974 and an associate municipal judge for the city of North Lauderdale between 1975 and 1976.
As a testament to his expertise, Mr. Roderman has found success as a legal analyst on ABC News Channel 10, WPLG, in Miami. He worked with the Reality Check Program with Larry Lawton, a program that helps educate at-risk youths on the consequences of breaking the law. Apart from his legal contributions, Mr. Roderman has become noted for his contributions as a real estate agent with Opulence Realty in Miami.

To prepare for his career in law, Mr. Roderman graduated from The Ohio State University in 1968 with a bachelor's degree. Admitted to Stetson University College of Law, he earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1972. He has since been admitted to practice by the Florida Bar Association, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
